Be less sorry

You are allowed to make mistakes

You are allowed to forget dates
You are allowed to Stand Up for Yourself
You are allowed to have a lazy day

You are allowed to learn from your own mistakes

You are allowed to day dream
You are allowed to wear whatever you want

You are allowed to sulk in
You are allowed to care about your feelings

You are allowed to put yourself first
You are allowed to laugh as much as you want and cry your heart ou

But….

You are not allowed to be sorry for following your heart

You are not allowed to feel sorry for not meeting someone’s expectations

You are not allowed to feel sorry for having an opinion

You are not allowed to live your life on someone else’s command
You are not allowed to sacrifice your needs

Be a less sorry for being WHO YOU ARE!

  1. I’m sorry to hear freedoms are taken from people where you live. There is a joy in the Lord who is our strength, and by having faith in Him it frees us from the outward bondage that people keep us in. Dear God we pray for the release of bondage over your people who have put their faith and trust in you, may they see that by relying completely on you that there is liberty in Christ. 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30).
People in your land are sadly under an authority of others, but God is above all authority over any land, and just as Paul and Silas were in a prison, the doors flew open by God in their most dyer situation. He still moves across the land just as He did so long ago! ( Acts 16:25-31).
God Bless and keep you Always safe in His care Apurva.

  2. Such a good perspective for those who always invite themselves to pity parties. You are right there are things we are allowed to do and not do. Loved this writing!!!! Blessings Always.

    • M so glad you liked it. In the country I live in, women / kids still don’t have liberty. Kids/ spouses cannot follow the path to choose their lifestyle/ career paths. I have observed this so closely and my heart aches when I see this.
