Death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it…

Last week I called a friend of to pass my condolences to him and his family for his father’s demise. He spoke to me for a while, by the end of the call he said “Death is a universal truth of life and he has accepted this fact. It is not length of life, but depth of life”. Nothing is permanent in life.

The feeling of losing someone dear is beyond words. No one wants their people to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it.

Every day there is more to feel, Everyday you find more of them in you.

Everyday you cherish their presence in you yet,
Everyday you feel their absence.

Everyday you want to express how you feel,

Everyday you know your feelings can never be expressed in words.

The truth is you know they are always with you, cherish their presence not their absence

The highest tribute to the dead is not grief but gratitude. – Thornton Wilder

Every man’s life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another. – Ernest Hemingway

It doesn’t matter how we die, but how we live. Humans are mortals. Everyone dies eventually, whether they have power or not.

We all die. The goal isn’t to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.
