I can’t even count, in my life how many times I have been pulled down and how many times I have gathered the strength to get up and get moving.
Still, there are days when I feel sad, there are days, when even will I feel demotivated!!!
We all have a easy way to live life, right.
I m only human.
I’m sure it happens to all of us.
What do you do when you feel demotivated ?
When you feel its not working out anymore?
When you feel like giving up?
When you feel like changing paths or changing career, changing relationship?
Think about it, if you want to know my suggestions.
My secret mantra is knowing the why.
Know your WHY
It’s the most important thing to understand and motivate yourself.
The first thing you need to do is to think, if you really feel passionate about it.
How badly you want to achieve your goal? Do you really want it ? Or
What is the reason behind following a particular path or a career for a relationship for that matter!
If you are really passionate about something or doing something for a right reasons then stay consistent.
And I know it’s difficult to stay motivated.
A wise person once said to me that motivation is really overrated all you have to do is to be consistent
Get up, get dressed, get moving even on days when you do not feel like. No matter what you feel like, make a point to be consistent. Consistency pays, it’s like you life insurance policy. Whenever I start a new change I make sure I do it for 90 days. It takes 21 days to build a habit, however it takes 90 days to build a lifestyle.
Quitting is not an option
Trust me when I say this cause I have a first hand experience. All I wanted when I left my house was to have an independent and individual life.
However, in the world that we live in independence is uncommon.
It means having the independence to choose your own career path, your own goal, own life style. Do what you want, make mistakes and learn from them.
Dream big, it comes with big risk though.
This does not mean that you do not have to dream big.
It just means that you just have to be willing to take the risks.
Either the risk will pay off or will teach something great out of it.
Think about exactly what your life would look like if you had already achieved your dream.
Act as if. Always act in a way that is consistent with where you want to go. Visualization has power. Your mind is a great tool, but when we cloud it with our fears and frustration we make our mind our worst enemy. So, instead of worrying about results. Visualize that you have achieved your goal and how have you achieved it. Pretend you already have it. I know these may only be fantasies but the worries and the worst case scenarios we build in our minds also aren’t real as well.
