What makes you really angry??
What is intolerable to you??
Something that boggles your mind. There must be something that makes you ask why!!!
WHY are things the way they are?
There are few things in life that makes me furious, things that I simply do not understand why they still exist.
On the top of that list is SOCIAL INJUSTICE.
Social injustice issues would be things like child molestation, domestic violence, discrimination due to gender, orientation, ethnicity, age, sex, unfair labor practices and the list goes on.
These are the behaviors that happens in our daily routine. We see them happening around us and tend to turn a blind eye.
May be because it is not happening to us!! Or Maybe we do not want to poke our nose in someone’s business!! Or May be you could not gather the courage to say no to the injustice happening to you.

I was scrolling through my Facebook and I came across this video.
It made me furious.
It got me thinking, if a person is treating you badly, disrespecting you or is abusing (mentally, emotionally, or physically) you why are you not putting an end to it.
Your silence will lead the person to not only continue the behaviour with you but may also encourage the person to do the same with others. So, your silence is not only harming you but may also become the cause of other person’s suffering. You need to speak up against evil and injustice.
I know it takes courage, it will be difficult, but it is your birth right to live a peaceful and happy life. Stop thinking that you are not powerful enough to make a change. Trust me all you need to do is have courage to take first step against injustice.
Every human being born deserves a good life. They deserve peace, respect, and happiness. I repeat every person on this planet deserve equal amount of peace, respect, love, and happiness. You are no less. Do not wait for things to CHANGE organically or for your time to CHANGE. In the process of raising you voice against injustice even if you lose people you will find yourself and your happiness. I know for a fact that every 5th household in Rural India may have a case of social injustice. We need to take action to end it.
In one of the John Wayne Movies, he said this part:
“LIFE IS HARD; Its harder if you’re stupid.”
Life will never be easy.
It will always be hard. –Choose your hard.
Choose wisely, wise choices are almost always accompanied by long hours of hard work. However, you must help yourself. Think about it, if our freedom fighters would not have fought those zillions of battles for our freedom, will we be able to enjoy this free country.
Talk to a family or a friend, tell them what is happening and let them know you want to put an end to it. Let them know you will need their support.
Seek NGO help, at times just the issue is bigger, or you are in bigger dump. If matter is serious take help of NGO’s, they have expertise and will be able to help you in a better way.
Do not give up, I know it is easier said than done. But please do not give up, always remember you are not only doing this for yourself but also for others. Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves.
If you see injustice happening on you or with others, speak up against it.
“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”
