Take the second chance : Your Second Innings

Life is all about second chances. We all need second chances.

Infact, I am a living proof of second chances. I survived cause life gave me a second chance to build my life again. I have made plenty of mistakes in my life, however the day I thought I have to turn things around, that’s the day I count as the first day as my “Second Innings”.

We all makes mistakes, the idea is not to dwell on those mistakes that you have already made rather learn from it and make your second attempt even better.

Take your life as a test match of cricket instead of 20-20 match. You will get another chance, so whenever you get that chance take it and comeback with a BANG. We all know Robert Downey Jr and his story From heroin addict to Hollywood’s top star. We are talking about Robert Downey Jr, the Hollywood mega-star who at $80 million a year is the highest-paid actor in the world, according to Forbes.

He was written off by the showbiz due to his past mistakes. Before he became Iron Man, he was Inmate P50522 — the man who had to wash dishes for. He was arrested again in 2001 for wandering the streets while being high. His wife left him, he almost went bankrupt and Hollywood gave up on him. He was almost rejected for the role of Iron Man. However, as soon as he got that second chance he made sure he turned things around.

Life always offers you a second chance and it’s called TOMORROW. Sometimes in life, you’re not always given a second chance, but if you do, take advantage of it.

Not everyone gets a second chance. If you do get one, take advantage of it because it’s a gift, and it may be something better than you had before!

If you are still breathing, you have a second chance. -Oprah Winfrey

Life is never easy but it’s BEAUTIFUL ❤️❤️
AND I am thankful for every experience, every happy moment, every chance and everything I have been blessed with. Life never comes with a user manual, hence it’s a hit and trial run for us. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. All I know is it’s okay to make mistakes as long as you try to correct those mistakes and take responsibility for your mistakes.

This pandemic change the way I used to look at Life. Covid times taught me that we got very little time and so much to accomplish. We all get 24 hours in a day and if I use them wisely I might just achieve want I dreamt of.

We need to pause and acknowledge carefully how Cellphone are a necessity for many even students yet it remains luxury for lesser privileged.
So many people wish the life we live in. .

When it comes to computers, a lot of people in rural India are not literate enough to use them, and in any case would not be able to afford them. However, In urban India home computers / laptops are now being seen as a necessity though.

Our basic necessities in life could be someone’s luxury life. The life we are living is wished by many lesser privileged people. Never take your life and what you have in it for granted.

I’ve learned that making a ‘living’ is not the same thing as making a life. I’ve learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance. I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. -Maya Angelou
