Have you ever forgotten to buy something in spite of going out??
Is it a Chaos to plan a big event or party?
Do you miss deadlines to accomplish a task?
SO, have I in the past.
I was never the kind of person who goes by the list to accomplish a task. Whether it is to go to a supermarket to buy my monthly groceries or it is to get a certain work done in a day I NEVER made by TO DO LIST. However, some time back there was marriage in our family and the person in charge made a list of all the work that had to be done till the D- Day and divided that work list.
This helped us immensely. Not only did the marriage went smoothly, there was no single task that was missed and no last minute hustle. The best part was there were ZERO friction that happened between the people, since the work was divided and the list made them accountable for the work in hand.
After this, I make sure I make my To-Do list. By keeping such a list, I make sure that my tasks are written down and I don’t forget anything important. I keep them time based if I am making a list of an EVENT OR WORK.
Reasons why you should try this :-
- Helps you be more organized.
- Helps us Prioritise the work in hand.
- Reduces the chance of forgetting.
- Gets more work done in less time.
- Prevents procrastination, since we can’t see the work that needs to be done chance of it get delayed is less.
- Helps us meet the deadline.
- Helps us manage time and stress.
- No last minute chaos.
You can download the checklist or To-do list Apps available on your phone.
I assure you, that making a list of getting the work done can make a huge difference. Before this, I had no idea I could get so much work done by a simple habit change.
One can actually invent 25th hour in a day.
