​Have jaggery and ghee

Have a tablespoon of jaggery with ghee post-lunch for better digestion and absorption of food.

​Set your curd with raisins

Set your curd with raisins and have it around 3 pm or 4 pm. Together they act as prebiotics and promote the growth of good bacteria in the gut.

Have A Banana Every Day

Banana is one of the healthiest and nutritious foods. Have one banana in the morning or as an evening snack.

Take Naps

Take a quick nap of 15-20 minutes in the afternoon. It can rejuvenate you and speed up the digestion process.

Stay Hydrated

Drink an adequate amount of water in the day can help to keep your digestive system healthy and work efficiently.

​Avoid chai/ coffee post 4 pm

Do not drink 2-3 cups of chai and coffee in a day. Also, avoid having any kind of tea/coffee including green tea after 4 pm.

Include Peanuts In Your Diet

Avoid all kind of laxative that promises easy bowel movement. Instead add food like ghee, coconut, peanuts to your diet.

​Avoid having a meal in wrong proportions

Have your meal in the right proportion. Having less rice or roti and increasing intake of dal and sabzi won’t help much.

Be More Active And Walk More

Physical activity and bowel movement are linked with each other. So exercise regularly for better digestion and ease constipation.
